Everyone is nervous about losing his or her job. In today’s economy, no job seems to be safe. When you are the boss, you can’t get fired or laid off. You may lose clients or suffer from some business lows, but you can’t lose your job. And if you have the patience to wait out the current economic downturn, by the time things improve you’ll be able to continue operating your business out of your home.

With more and more jobs being lost each day, this year will be very long for a lot of people, and many of them will have unhappy outcomes. Today’s job market is so bleak that anyone who is employed could potentially be laid off or fired. That is why it is important to always have some money saved. Follow the old saying “save for a rainy day” now, because that day has come.
