Hey Google To Take That PPC And Shove It – Banner Ads Are An Awesome MLM Lead Generator

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Have you heard the nasty rumors going around about some of the biggest PPC advertisers in the MLM business getting slapped and their accounts shut down? If you haven’t, beware of the Oogle monster coming to get you and take your “Get Rich Quick” ads down regardless if they are advertising that or not.

In steps my favorite MLM lead generation paid strategy, banner ads! You might be thinking, those things are old school and they don’t work. On the contrary my friend, I am generating between 5-10 lazer targeted leads per day. I am going to let you in on the secrets that I use to generate these leads with banner ads.

Keyword research isn’t a secret, but it is crucial when banner advertising. Find a keyword that is getting a lot of traffic and then search it in Oogle and see what the sites return for that word. Go to several sites and identify which ones have banner ads running. See if you can find the sites that have advertising available and contact them about running your ads. Realize that most of these sites will have prices set that are higher than you can get them other places, but the traffic will be more targeted. If the sites don’t have any ad spots you can contact one of the following companies that sell banner ad spaces: BuySellAds, BlogAds, etc.

We have more great articles for you. Check this one: Tips For Choosing Outdoor Furniture

The good thing about this kind of searching is that even if the site you want isn’t available, you can use the demographics of the site to find other places to put your ads. Understanding the demographics is key in banner advertising. You don’t want your ads running on a site whose demos are Young girls when your product is meant for males between 35-43. Quantcast and Alexa are two great sites for starting your demographics search.

We know our target market and what they are searching, why don’t we get our banners. If you are representing an MLM or affiliate, they will probably already have stock banners. If they don’t you can make some yourself in Photoshop or have an outsourcer handle them for you. You can get some really good banners for a couple of hundred dollars or less. Usually, I will make my own or get them made because I know that everyone else that has access to the stock banners will be using them. I like to stand out from the crowd for some reason.

Now comes the great part for those PPC guys out there. When placing banner ads, you can choose to either pay per click (familiar, huh) or by cost per mille (CPM). The even better news is that a lot of PPC guys are used to paying 2-3 bucks per click where, with banners, you can often get clicks for less than $1. The double better news is that the CPM method gets even cheaper. With CPM, you are paying per thousand impressions on the website you are advertising. It isn’t uncommon to get CPMs for under 75 cents and you will often find that you get a couple clicks CPM, which makes your CPC (cost per click) around 38 cents.

Last, you need to decide if want to send you leads to directly to your offer or to a landing page. If your offer is over $50 you will be better to send all traffic to a carefully scripted landing page to increase conversions. If you choose not to send them to a landing page, your conversion will likely suffer.

I realize banner ads are not as sexy to most as PPC, but your conversions can be the same and cost less with this method of advertising. If you are looking to pick up the pieces after getting the Google Slap, look to banner advertising to get your lead generation back on its feet and generating that steady stream of MLM leads that you have become accustomed to.

Making Money with Adwords – Ways of Minimizing the Risk

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Making money with Adwords can seem like an impossible task, and if you don’t set things up just right it is sometimes a gamble that you could lose. So how can you make money with Adwords and minimize your risk? Learn the proper way of using Adwords for marketing and follow the steps below.

Set a Budget: The first thing you will want to do is set a budget. Having $100 minimum to start your first campaign is a good limit. With that amount of money you should be able to set up an ad campaign, tweak it and make money with Google Adwords that you can then reinvest back into your new marketing business.

Too often people will just set up an ad campaign and let it run without taking a look at how it is doing; this is a huge mistake and can be very costly. There are certain steps to setting up a campaign that are very important and should not be skipped.

Focus on one campaign: Don’t spread yourself too thin by running too many campaigns at once. This takes funds away from a campaign that could do well and instead makes it more likely that you will have no successes.

Research your topic, product and keywords before you create an ad. There are many resources online that can show you how to do all of this. Once you learn how you will see how easy making money with Google Adwords can be.

Know when to modify: Be sure to watch your campaign closely; if you outspend what your profits from one sale would have been, pause your campaign. Figure out what might be wrong before turning it back on.

Small tweaks can sometimes make all the different. It could be your ad, it could be the landing page, you have to figure things out before going live again, otherwise you could spend a fortune on non-effective advertising.

This article discussed making money with Adwords and how you can minimize your risk. Adwords can be tricky at first, but by setting a budget, focusing on one campaign first and making small tweaks after it has gone live, you can see sales roll in. Don’t be afraid to try Adwords, if you set a budget you can try this advertising method while minimizing your risk.

Traffic To My Website -Prevent Mistakes

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

This article discusses paying other websites for the privilege of sending people to your website.

Note that Pay Per Click (PPC) the process of paying the search engines to list a sponsored link to your website in search engine results is such a large topic that it has it’s own article on this Website.

artlekinh's Videos on Yahoo! Video - is one more helpful article for you.

Now you may feel some reluctance to pay for advertising, and like any expense you should ensure it’s relevant and worthwhile to what you are trying to achieve.

It’s also critical that when paying for web traffic that you ensure you know your statistics.

You need to know the number of click throughs you are getting for a particular ad in order to gauge its effectiveness.

If your not actually tracking these statistics in some meaningful way they you have no way to determine if the paid traffic is providing a return on your investment. In other words you need to know exactly how many people are visiting your site by clicking the link on the site you paid advertising on.

This is one of the areas where I see a lot of people fall down, they make the decision to buy some advertising space from another website (or mailing list) and then do not track the effectiveness of it. How can you measure the effectiveness of an ad if you are not keeping statistics? (hint You can’t!).

This is where decent ad tracking software comes into play, what you can do is set-up a new tracking link for each and every paid ad you set-up, so that you can know with certainty the amount of traffic you are receiving for it. Because each paid ad has a separate tracking link you know with certainly how many clicks you are getting on the link, and this gives you much more power as you have some real statistics you can use to gauge the effectiveness of each ad you pay for.

Now before we go into more detail, lets talk about the type of traffic you can buy, and discuss the pros and cons of each type of paid traffic method.

Banner Ad’s on Competitors Websites

This can be a great way to leverage visitors from another sites traffic. You usually pay a fixed fee per month for the banner ad and it’s then displayed for a full month on the website.

Depending on the amount of money you pay, it may be a fixed ad, or may be mixed in with a number of other ads and displayed on a rotational basis (e.g. visitor 1 is shown ad 1, visitor 2 is shown ad 2, etc).

Other options may include paying for a fixed number of impressions. E.g. 10,000 impressions would in theory mean that your ad would be displayed for 10,000 visitors to the website.

It’s very important that you choose your websites to buy ad space on very carefully. Obviously you want to ensure the website has products or services related to your particular niche, and that the website does have good number of visitors.

Usually when you approach the website the webmaster can give you some statistics on how many visitors they get per day on average, etc. If they can’t provide you some real life statistics I would suggest you pass on using that website.

By utilising a range of tools it is a relatively easy matter to determine how relevant the website is in the search engines.

Many people claim to be experts in the area of pay per click services. We suggest you do some careful research yourself first before jumping in.Traffic web sites.

Another method of paying for web traffic is traffic websites. These are websites that you pay a membership fee to. and they in exchange guarantee to send you a number of visitors. Sounds good in theory, and there are many good sites out there.

Remember that in general you don’t just want any type of traffic, instead, what you do want is qualified targeted traffic.Which would you prefer 1,000,000 people arriving at your website with absolutely no interest in your product? Or 100 people who re interested in the exact products you have for sale?

I’m sure you will agree targeted traffic wins out over sheer volume any old day. You need to ensure the traffic website you sign up with does allow targeted traffic.

Also be wary of some of the less reputable sites that guarantee traffic to your website, as sometimes they achieve this by using automated computer software. It may appear that you have received the traffic (and your web logs may confirm it) however it is all traffic generated by a computer, meaning a human has not visited your site. Result? No sales, and a waste of money.

Use reputable companies to ensure you don’t get burnt. If you see a super duper offer offering a million visitors for $1 it’probably is too good to be true!

General tips

Some general tips for any type of paid advertising.

1. Ensure your ad is of interest to and relevant to the visitors/readers.

There is no point advertising on a website or paying for an ad in a mailing list where visitors/readers have no interest in your website, most of the time you will be wasting your time as well as the visitors/readers. You will also be wasting any money you have paid for advertising.

2. Do your sums to determine what you are trying to achieve – Weigh up the cost of the advertising, vs expected click throughs and profit. What is your break-ever point, how many sales do you need to make to break-even.

3. Use a decent tracking software for each ad so you have the information at your fingertips on how many people have connected, etc.

Check out Pro Track Manager, it is a fantastic product that I use myself and recommend.

You will be absolutely blown away by the features of this package and exactly what it can track. It can even track where people are leaving your website from, easily highlighting web pages you may need to work on some more.

Adwords Plus You Equals Success

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Promote your site efficiently using Adwords from Google

For those who do not know, Adwords is a site set up by Google in order to help people in need of advertising. It mainly deals with getting a business or site more widely known without the advertiser resorting to spamming. It places the ad on sites with Adsense as well as Google and people click on them, sending them to your site.

If you know your site will be interesting to view, you can buy impressions. Google will give your ad one thousand impressions from twenty five cents. You can choose whether you want the fees to be ongoing or if you want to pay for everything before the advertisement so you never have to worry about advertising too much and losing money.

We have more great articles for you. Check this one: Family | Free Web Articles - Part 4

Google Adwords Has a special feature. Instead of paying per impression, the advertising cost may be pay per click. You only have to pay for when an ad is clicked. This is great if you are not sure if people will look at your ad or click on it. The cost per click is from one cent.

The advantage of buying impressions is that you can generate more visitors with a good ad. It requires work to create an ad that will catch the eye and convince people to click, but it will save money in the end if you do it right.

Impressions may not be what you want though. You may want to have your site guaranteed to have viewers. If that is the case, you will want to buy clicks. For every cent you pay, a person is guaranteed to visit your site. If nobody views it, you do not have to pay for advertising. While you may not have as many potential viewers from the ad, you will have plenty if the people who visit like your site.

When you begin advertising, you will pay an activation fee of only five dollars. If you choose the prepay option, your total payment for advertising must be at least ten dollars. Credit cards are accepted for both prepay and postpay. Bank accounts are accepted for postpay and debit cards are accepted for prepay. Once your payment has been sent, you are ready to advertise.

Because you are being advertised on Google, where millions of people go every day, you are bound to receive visitors if your ad is done right. In addition, your ad is shown on any site with Google Adsense. This allows your ad to be seen by virtually every person who goes on the Internet.

Google Adwords exists to help those businesses who need to be known. Help yourself.

How to Get Cheap Cost Per Click Advertising

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

Cost per click advertising is one of the first methods people turn to when it comes to purchasing ads for a website on a fixed budget. Everywhere you look in marketing magazines and forums the buzz is all about PPC. When you are looking for a low cost way to drive traffic to your website fast, PPC is considered by many website experts to be the best way to go.

So I launched my PPC Campaign without a second thought. I will say that I did get the immediate surge of hits that I needed. As a matter of fact it started almost overnight! Soon I was getting visit after visit. The problem was the cost was not as low as I expected it would be.

I can’t tell you how many times I had to use up my profit by sinking the money right back into PPC ads. To be perfectly honest I thought I would make much more money with PPC than I did.

We have more great articles for you. Check this one: www.howtoarticles.net

After a couple of months, I kept noticing the same pattern of high charges from Google and low profits. It started to become very stressful for me. I began to worry about how much money I was losing on my PPC Campaign. I knew there had to be some other way, but all I knew was PPC. I was worried enough that I had to search anyway. Much to my surprise, I read about another type of paid advertising that is like PPC… but in my opinion is a whole lot better. I found PPV.

I had to try another way and I did. Much to my surprise, I came across another type of paid advertising similar to PPC called PPV and in my opinion it is way better. I am so glad I found it! PPV Stands for Pay Per View. Pay Per View Is just like Pay Per Click… except it’s a lot easier, and less expensive!

PPC can be as much as $4-$30 (Yes, 30!) per click. But with PPV the cost can be as little as $0.01 each time your webpage is displayed. Now there’s a difference between a click and a view that you should be aware of. A click can be faked… which means that you could be paying people to click through to your webpage and then leave immediately.

But with PPV you will get a real person that is interested in looking at what you have to offer. That is called targeted advertising. Targeted ads are the best way to turn a profit from your Ad spends.

Anyone that can do a PPC campaign can do this without any problem. I think it’s easier and better than PPC. I would recommend anyone from the beginner to the veteran look into PPV and see if PPV can make a positive difference for your marketing efforts.

Review – Is Jonathan Mizel’s New Traffic Evolution A Ripoff, Or Is It Worth Your Money? ) Traffic Evolution Review

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

In the wake of Google being so damn unfriendly to affiliate marketers and canning thousands of adwords accounts, it’s becoming imperative not to have all of your eggs in one basket, and to make sure that you’re getting traffic, not just from the search engines, but from many sources. Of course, where do you find those sources of traffic, which are good value for money, and which are crap?

Enter Jonathan Mizel’s Traffic Evolution.

We have more great articles for you. Check this one: Watch Video CarbonCopyPro Scam at blinkx

How Traffic Evolution works

If you’re looking for new sources of paid traffic then Traffic Evolution is for you. It’s all about moving beyond Google Adwords, Yahoo and Overture into other ad networks that abound on the internet. It’s definitely not a course on how to get natural search engine traffic.

Traffic Evolution shows you all of the advertising networks that Jonathan Mizel uses, and will run you through how to set up an account and get started on getting some qualified traffic through to your site. He lets you know about all of the little quirks that each ad network may have as well, which can be a real time saver (not to mention saving you some real frustration!)

One real advantage of looking into alternative sources of traffic is that there is less competition for the ad inventory and so you’ll often pay a lot less for the clicks than you would on Google Adwords or Overture. When you think that the difference between a profitable campaign and a losing campaign is often just a few cents per click, then this information becomes all the more important.

The Good Side Of Traffic Evolution.

Traffic Evolution consists of two sections. The first section is twelve videos that run through the ad networks that Jonanthan Mizel is currently using, and runs you through the sign up process, and how to get your campaigns up and running as fast as possible. The second is the members forum that you get access to once you’re into the members area. It’s almost a cliche that a guru will give away access to a forum as a bonus and then let their members run it with little interaction from themselves.

Not so on this one. Jonathan Mizel is active in this forum and takes care to answer nearly every thread that asks for a response. This is NOT COMMON in the internet marketing world, where everybody seems to be tending towards outsourcing so that they have to do minimal work.

At the moment there is a massive trend towards monthly continuity programs, which can get pretty expensive very quickly, so it was nice to see that Jonathon Mizel has opted to stick with a one off payment of $197 for Traffic Evolution.

I’m sick of paying monthly fees for info products that used to just get a one off charge, so to me this is great!

What I Don’t Like About Traffic Evolution.

Traffic Evolution is only about finding alternative sources of paid traffic. It doesn’t go into how to convert that traffic once you’ve got it, or how to go about targeting specific demographics to make the most out of your traffic. It does go into some of those things at a peripheral level, but nothing amazing.

Thankfully, that’s it for the Bad!

So Who is Traffic Evolution For?

**Traffic Evolution is NOT for NEWBIE marketers!**

If you’re not currently making some money already on your website, then i don’t recommend that you buy Traffic Evolution. You’re much better off looking at doing some article marketing, or doing something like the 30 Day Challenge, which is a free course by Ed Dale that will show you the ropes.

If you are new to marketing but would really like to get into the world of Pay Per Click, then you should have a look at GoogleCash or Perry Marshall’s Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide To Adwords. Just go to the video link at the bottom of this article to find out more info on those.

If you’re an experienced marketer however, who currently runs campaigns with Adwords or Overture, and especially if you’re one of the poor buggers that got banned for life by Google recently, then Traffic Evolution is just what the doctor ordered, and WILL get you traffic at lower prices than you would get from Google.

Is Traffic Evolution A Good Buy?

At $199 Traffic Evolution is pretty good value. True, it’s still $199 but it’s information that you’re not really going to find anywhere else, and don’t forget you get access to the forum, which gets actual genuine interaction from Jonathan Mizel, which is worth $199 by itself. I know that sounds like a blatant plug, but I really mean it!

Traffic Evolution Overall:

Provided you understand what this product is, and what it isn’t, then Traffic Evolution is an excellent buy. You must be an experienced marketer before you buy this product however! If you’re not sure about landing pages and autoresponders and tracking conversion, and especially if you’re not tracking the return on investment on your campaigns then you should give this one a miss.

Traffic Evolution Rating:

1. Usability: 4 from 5. Information is good and the videos are easy to watch. Great Forum. 2. Usefulness: 4 from 5. If you’re looking for new, tested sources of traffic, then this is a winner! 3. Value for money: 4 from 5. $199 is not cheap for any info product, but as the information is scarce at the moment, I think it’s pretty good value for money, especially when the forum is factored in. 4. Overall: 4 from 5. Traffic Evolution is an excellent Course, especially if you’re an experienced marketer.

Google Cash Detective Isn’t A Scam

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

Okay, I know what you’re thinking, this is just another scam, another phony testimonial trying to separate me from my money. I know what you’re thinking, because I thought exactly the same thing. If you’re like me, you probably have sent money to other companies who promised that they would show you how to make money on Google. If they sent you anything at all for your money, it was worthless.

So when I stumbled across Google Cash Detective, i figured it was just another scam. Pay $9.99 for a program that never arrives and when you try for a refund, the company has disappeared. I looked the site over anyway, and there were two things I noticed. The first one was the cost of only one dollar, and the second was that nothing was being shipped to me, I could view the videos online as soon as I paid.

Well, the say that hope springs eternal, and anyway it was just a buck, really nothing much to lose there. So I forked over my dollar and settled back to watch the show. If nothing else, it would keep me entertained for awhile and it couldn’t be much worse than some movies i’ve sat through.

I owe Google Cash Detective an apology, a big one. The videos actually did offer new ideas that I hadn’t heard before. It offered techniques that didn’t need a lot of time or money for me to implement. It even showed new ways to generate traffic for my website.

This isn’t some magic act where “poof” you’re suddenly rolling in money. You have to take the time to study and implement the ideas for your own business. My first day I made less than ten dollars, but it might have been a million as thrilled as I was to make anything. Hey, got my dollar back. It will take a little longer to recoup the money I spent on those other programs.

I haven’t been doing this even a month yet, but every day I make a little more. It’s not enough to retire on, but I have high hopes that the day is not as far off as I thought it would be. I’m still studying and adding new ideas from the program to increase my web traffic. It’s getting better and better.

All you have to do is watch the videos. No waiting for packages to be delivered, no complicated software that you don’t know how to run. The videos cover a lot of territory including how to use keywords and how to chose keyword to get the attention of search engines, how to link to an affiliate without even having a website, and how to chose products that will actually sell.

This is worth a buck just for the ideas. Even if affiliate marketing isn’t you thing, a lot of the information can be applied to any online business. Google Cash Detective isn’t a scam, it’s really a gem.

Making Money With Google Adsense

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

Making money with Adsense is easy if you know what to do and how to do it. Each day, websites are earning income from displaying Google Ads. Google Adsense is easy to implement and can provide addition online revenue for anyone looking to make some extra money. There are even some sites making lots of money with Google Adsense. These web sites apply some simple techniques to really improve their overall earning potential. Consider applying some of these techniques to your own website.

How much you earn with Google Adsense depends on a variety of things including the types and placements of the ads you show as well as the competitiveness of the ads. In a market or niche where there is little supply but high demand, ads generate more money for both Google and the publishers displaying Google Adsense. Before placing code on your web page, consider the fact that some ad placements generate higher click through rates than others. For example, ads placed above the fold tend to have a higher conversion rate than those towards the bottom of the page.

For anyone currently doing business with Google Adsense, you may be aware that Google does what it can to help its advertisers. They have even released a variety of information regarding best performing placements. Google recommends strong click through rates on ads that appear on the top, left, and bottom of a web page. Although varying sizes perform differently, half banners, and larger ad spots seem to perform well.

For example, on content rich sites where users are reading specific content, ad blocks that flow with the text seem to perform well. Consider the behavior of your users and match your ad placement to their specific actions. Adsense ads can serve as a guide for users who are looking for relevant products or services related to the content on your web page. Give them the opportunity to find a product that solves a problem.

Another area associated with Adsense is the use of different ad sizes. In addition, trying various ad sizes in each location on your page can quickly change your earning potential. Not only is ad position important, but rotating and testing different ad sizes in each location can produce radically different results. Advertisers find that medium rectangles in content specific areas seems to work best. The best way to generate more revenue is to continually test ad performance.

Consider changing the color palette of your ads. You can run a color palette that matches your site, blends with your web page, or takes on a completely different look. Don’t always assume that one style is better than another. In some cases, ads that blend generate accidental clicks and those that are in contrast stick out enough to get noticed and acted upon. As is true with all other ad related criteria, you should test different color schemes and templates.

Use more than one ad on your page. Using multiple ad units is a great way to optimize your exposure. The ideal combination is usually two or three different ad units of different sizes. You don’t want your ads to overwhelm your page but at the same time, they should be noticeable. Ads that aren’t seen can’t be acted upon. Experiment to find the right number of ad spots for maximizing Adsense revenue.

Integrate and consider all of the elements we discussed in this article. Ad sizes, colors, and placements all have an impact on dollars earned. Unfortunately, the perfect combination of these factors can only be determined by experimentation and testing. Start with a few placements on your web page of standard sizes. Let your ads run for a couple of weeks before you start tweaking. Measure your responses daily and continue to try new placements. Soon you’ll be generating a nice income stream with Adsense ads.
