Once again he faces off against the wicked Cobra, who has unleashed an army of unstoppable soldiers with brutal battle skills.
The commander of the powerful military is the one and only, the infamous Venomous Maximus, a creature made utilizing the DNA of G.I. Joe’s own Commander, General “Hawk” Abernathy, in addition to that of probably the most terrifying creatures within the Universe. So that he can defeat Cobra’s military and save his own Commander from this chilling fate, G.I. Joe must summon all his technological and heroic skills.

As the character’s challenges most often dealt with the evil Cobra Commander, G.I. Joe was also called upon in 1992 to assist the Drug Elimination Force combat the developing drug problem. In-school programs were launched using the character to teach kids about the perils associated with drug use.
