IPhone 4 Cases & IPhone 4 Screen Protector

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

Apple estimates that about 1.5 million iPhone 4 units were sold on its date of launch. Now if I’m not mistaken, that’s a lot of iPhones and even more than 1.5 million scratches, blemishes and scars that could potentially affect someone’s bundle of joy. Imagine opening up to a brand new iPhone 4 and only to find out the next day that there’s a massive scratches across the screen because you left it lying around for your little brother to “play” around with it for a while.

So it makes sense that anyone who owns one, whether it’d be an iPhone 3 or iPhone 4, that they should have some kind of protection for it. This usually comes in the form of iPhone 4 screen protectors and iPhone 4 cases. These are essential when it comes to keeping your iPhone in near perfect condition.

iPhone 4 screen protectors help keep your screens protected from scratches, dust and smudges. And the fact that iPhone 4′s also have retina display (the function that gives 4 times the amount of pixels on the iPhone 4 screen), HD video recording and 5 megapixel camera with built-in LED flash, makes the iPhone 4 screen protector a definite need when it comes to maintaining the quality of your photos and images.

And let’s not forget iPhone 4 cases. Without these, you’d pretty much be holding an iPhone made of sandpaper! iPhone 4 cases mainly protect the back part of your iPhone, whilst giving you access to all your ports, sensors and other inputs (and especially your earphone socket). iPhone 4 cases also come in many attractive designs and colors and some come at a very low cost, if you know where to find the bargain.

Most people don’t get the necessary protection until it’s too late. When I mean too late, I mean hyena scratch infested too late. Realistically, would you really want a phone that’s so scratched that you couldn’t even see what was even on the screen or everytime you reached out to get your iPhone, you felt like as if you were reaching out for a iPhone shaped scourer? I wouldn’t think so.

Do yourself a favor and get iPhone screen protectors and iPhone cases today before your iPhone will be scarred for life (and so will your dignity).

IPhone 4 Cases: A Customer’s Guide

Monday, August 16th, 2010

With the advent of the iPhone 4, Mac has (yet again) revolutionized how we use technology. Gone are the days of clunky cellular phones. In their place are the sleek, new mobile phones. Now, the competition is among the carriers for a better, faster, stronger phone.

Most of the modern cell phones come equipped with a camera, internet access, music, etc. The iPhone 4 makes all of those better. Instead of a stylus, it has a touch screen. But, it only comes in black.

If you’re a pro-Mac user, you may want to check out the cases offered from Mac stores. The first is the iSkin revo-designed with your iPhone 4 in mind! It comes in blue/black and red/black. According the Apple.com Store, this case is highly durable and protects all “vulnerable” parts of your iPhone 4 (including ports). Included with the case are two “privacy screens,” which are static cling pieces that go over the touch-screen of the iPhone 4.

They’re tinted so that if you are not looking at your iPhone 4 directly, what is seen is tinted darkly to black. There is also a cover that can snap into place over the screen when it’s not in use. This little number will run you $39.95. According to two reviews, it does exactly what it says: protects the phone. It does, however, have a few design flaws. If you’re willing to put up with having to charge your phone every night, then this may be the case for you.

But, let’s not be too hasty!

Also from the Mac Store-Incase! It’s a sleek, soft cover that comes in magenta, black, cyan, slate, chocolate, and yellow. It fits over the phone, leaving the screen area completely visible. It, too, has a protective film for over the front. It does exactly as it says-protects the phone from falls and accidents.

However, according to several consumers, it scratches the chrome of the phone if dust or lint get into it. It also needs to be removed before trying to fit the iPhone 4 into the docking station. This iPhone 4 case runs $29.95. If you’re looking to protect the phone and never ever go without a case, then the scratching of the chrome may not bother you.

iPhone 4 Cases are precision molded cases to perfectly fit your iphones. iPhone 4 Cases product is so attractive among super stars as well as young peoples that is more and more popular worldwide.

Bamboo Slider IPhone 4 Cases – The Review

Monday, August 16th, 2010

When it came time to purchase a case for my iPhone 4, I tried out a number of cases while trying to find a case that could fit all my needs. I was never able to and now I have a case that I use for outdoors trips and a few others that I purchased and tried. There are a number of companies producing iPhone 4 cases and some of the better offerings are the Incase cases.

They make a number of different products, including the popular Incase Slider cases. It’s one of the more popular iPhone 4 cases, due both to its wide availability and its utility.

However, what really sold me on an Incase Slider was the Incase Bamboo Slider. While most iPhone 4 cases come in a variety of different color choices, the Incase Bamboo Slider is the first case I have seen that allows iPhone 4 users to choose a more environmentally friendly case.

40% of the Bamboo Slider is made of bamboo pulp produced from recycle Bamboo-it’s an environmentally sustainable and responsible choice that is a welcome addition to the iPhone 4 world. Moreover, you don’t sacrifice anything to get it.

The case works exactly the same as other Incase Slider cases. It consists of two interlocking plastic pieces that provide a solid layer of protection for your iPhone 4. The case fits snuggly against your iPhone 4 and you will barely notice that it is there. The case retains access to all of the controls and ports on your phone, which is a nice benefit as many cases restrict access to the iPhone 4′s docking port-the Incase Slider does not. The case is also padded with a thin layer of rubber to further help your iPhone 4 survive a fall. Compared with other Incase Slider cases, the Incase Bamboo Slider feels comprable and you likely won’t even notice that it isn’t made out of the usual plastic material.

Overall, I really like the Incase Bamboo Slider. I appreciate the fact that Incase decided to offer a more environmentally sustainable iPhone 4 case.

It feels great to be doing my part to help the earth and the fact that they don’t charge extra for the Bamboo case is refreshing. For $34.95, the Incase Bamboo Slider is competitive with most other iPhone 4 cases, but when you throw in the fact that it is made of partially recycled material-it edges out many similarly priced cases. Most anyone would be happy with the Bamboo Slider, but socially conscious users will be particularly happy.

Reviews Of All Sorts Of Cell Phones

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

LG Venus – VX8800: After a number of several impressive handsets offered by LG in the past couple of years, they are at it once more with the LG Venus VX8800, or known simply as the LG Venus. And Venus could not have been a more fitting name as this little device screams beauty and grace when viewed at any angle. It has a uniquely designed dual display with a touch sensitive screen. And what we love in its design is extended all the way under its skin. It has loads of features that will definitely make this phone a must have for those looking for a mobile phone with both beauty and brains.

Samsung SGH-T809: Samsung SGH-T809 Samsung follows in Motorola’s footsteps with the SGH-T809, and does a very good job of it, much to the chagrin of consumers looking for other slim handsets without having to buy Motorola’s flagship phone, the RAZR, since it seems everybody already have. Unlike the RAZR though, the T809 is a slider phone and as such, the slimness seemed like a miracle. And do not get fooled by its size as the T809 is mightily packed with great features that would definitely inspire a purchase consideration for many people. The T809′s svelte features can not be appreciated fully when viewed straight on though, as this view makes it look a bit bulky. That is until you start turning it to its side when its 1.52 cm thickness makes you wonder how so many features can be crammed in such a slim handset.

Motorola V547: The Motorola V547 is another clamshell offering from the makers of the RAZR series. Unlike the thin handsets like the aforementioned RAZR and the ROKR, this little mobile is a bit bulky and hefty. That being said though, this phone is quite cheap and may turn on a lot of consumers looking for a call and messaging solution with a few extras features without having to resort to extravagant handsets. Even compared to other devices of its class, the Motorola V547 still trumps the competition when it came to price.

Samsung SPH-M800: The Samsung SPH-M800 is a new type of mobile which is being prepared only for Sprint. It is indicated that it is, in fact, a North American version of the previously released European F490. This is because it has an array of features similar to the F490. This would go with its 2 megapixel camera, internet and Bluetooth capabilities among others.

LG VX9100: The new LG VX9100 which will take over the reign of the VX9900 or the LG enV, will probably be announced this coming April and will be available by the second quarter of this year at the earliest, if rumors hold true.

Canon Digital Cameras Features

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Having an old 35mm camera seems a little bit out of date considering all of the technology we have at our fingertips. Cameras have all gone digital and millions of people are making the switch. If you are thinking about making the switch, take a look at a Canon camera. Better yet, save yourself some money and read this guide to buy a used digital camera from Canon!

If you want to save the most amount of money then turn to an online auction site. These sites are full of buyers and sellers that are all working together in order to create profit. You can find just about anything that your heart desires from these sites and you will rarely lose money. These sites monitor progress to ensure that no one is being ripped off at any time.

When you look over a sellers page make sure that you take the time to ask them some questions. When looking at a used Canon camera or SLR, you will need to make sure that you are getting top quality and not something that is broken. Look for an FAQ page from them or simply send them a message with a list of questions. The more you know about your used purchase, the better.

Selecting A Generator - Which Is Best For Your Requirements? - is one more helpful article for you.

There should be a series of pictures attached with the camera that you are looking into buying. Make sure to look at each of those pictures carefully. These pictures will give you a better idea of the overall condition of the camera. Sellers will also use their own system that will help buyers understand how the camera will work for them if and when they buy it.

On top of asking the seller your own personal questions find out if the camera you are thinking about buying has been dropped or not. If the camera has been dropped then chances are it is not going to function as properly as you would like. Sellers do need to be honest and if the camera has in fact been dropped a few different times, you may not want to make that purchase.

Finally, make sure to inquire about any special software disks that may be needed. Usually cameras will have some sort of photo uploading software that can make your life a lot more convenient. Find out if the seller still has these discs so that you can easily upload and share all of your photos. Ask about possible cables that might be necessary as well.

As you can see, purchasing a used Canon camera is not going to be too hard at all. If you can follow this guide then you should be able to get a camera that is nearly new for a low, low price. Get online today and see which online auction sites and other websites have the best cameras!

Samsung J750: It was only last October 2007 when Samsung released their sleek, streamlined model the Samsung J750, and already the phone has garnered a lot of favorable raves and reviews. And it is only fair as there is a lot to love with Samsung’s little number. First thing one notices, for obvious reasons, is the J750′s wonderful and brilliant design. Though effective simplicity is key with this unit, it is however edgy with the curves in all the right places. And the slider mechanism does wonders, especially when sliding it open to reveal the innovative keypad design. But never let its looks fool you, for what your eyes see in the J750 is nothing compared to what it can do to your senses. This unassuming little phone is teeming with functionality and features that the user would surely love. Samsung definitely knew what it was doing when they conceptualized the J750.

Samsung E250: Samsung is the kind of brand that you neither love nor hate. Be it with their home stereo components, television sets, media players, and mobile phones, there is just something about it that eludes the market. Is it lack of innovation? Cetainly not. But people’s faces do not light up at the mere mention of their name. Maybe it’s because they just have always been on the safe side of things. Their designs do not reach out and grab you by your heart and throat the way a Sony Bravia or a Pioneer micro component might do. But with the release of their mobile phone model the Samsung E250, they may soon turn the tables around.

Nokia 6233: As if to solidify their mark in the mobile phone market, Nokia offers us another gem with the Nokia 6233. It’s a candy bar type phone with all the right perks for the modern user, including 3G capabilities. A definite budget solution for those looking for 3G functionality but do not want to splurge too much cash on a smart phone. Being labeled with the 6233 means it may be the worthy successor to the line of Nokia 62 series such as the 6230 and its follow up, the 6230i.

Sony Ericsson T270: Last January 24, 2008 in Delhi, India, the Sony Ericsson merger announced the launch of two new budget phones: The Sony Ericsson T270 and its big brother, the T280. They are a pair of affordable mobile phones with a definite flair for design. The similar looking phones are a pocket sized candy bar featuring a sleek brushed light metal with glass finish and comes in two color combinations; the Silver and Black and the sure to be a hit Copper and Silver combo. The only noticeable difference between the two is the absence of a camera lens at the back of the T270. But before you faint at the idea of a phone not having a camera – be aware first of the target audience of the T270, for it is definitely not a phone not for everyone.

Palm Treo 500v: Newer versions of mobile phones are being made to cater to the more intimate needs of the user. Every cell phone has a specific feature that may be designed to your advantage. As our technology grows, the mobile industry also takes a step further. Treo is not new to these upgrades and technological demands. In fact, it has recently released the Palm Treo 500v. It is the newer version of the smartphone; which vodaphone recently launched around the world, especially in Europe.

Cheapest Solution in VoIP Broadband Phone Service

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

VoIP is an abbreviation for voice over Internet protocol. It is easy to confuse VoIP with broadband phone service. Though broadband phone service uses the voice over Internet protocol to send and receive phone calls, it is not actually VoIP. As of now, VoIP basically comes in three forms, PC-to-PC, PC-to-Phone, and Broadband telephone service.

You may have used the most common PC-to-PC or PC-to-phone VoIP services without even realizing it. Have you ever used Yahoo Messenger to call someones computer? If you have, you’ve used Yahoo’s free PC-to-PC VoIP service. Additionally, Yahoo Messenger allows you to call someones home telephone from your computer for a small fee. This is called PC-to-Phone VoIP.

Broadband phone service also uses VoIP but allows you to make and receive calls on your home telephone the same way you always have. While PC-to-Phone, and PC-to-PC only require a software download to use the service, you’ll need a broadband phone adaptor to be able to use your home telephone with VoIP. Once installed, broadband phone service is very much like a traditional land line with just a few exceptions.

Now we know VoIP is the means of transmitting voice data over the Internet, and PC-to-Phone, PC-to-PC, or broadband telephone are the VoIP hardware and software solutions for VoIP. Armed with that information, which is the cheapest solution in VoIP for you? Free VoIP is not always the cheapest solution in VoIP. Let me explain.

As mentioned before, PC-to-PC VoIP is often times free with Popular Instant Messenger clients such as Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, and now, Google Talk. These messengers provide an excellent free service which allows you to talk to friends and family over long distances through your home computer and speakers or headset.

What if you need to call someones home telephone or business phone? That’s where PC-to-Phone Voip comes in. PC-to-Phone allows you to call a telephone from your computer. Though PC-to-Phone isn’t free it’s very cheap, sometimes around 1 cent per minute or less. Examples of Popular PC-to-Phone VoIP services are offered by Yahoo Messenger and Skype.

Broadband telephone service allows you to make and receive phone calls without the aid of you’re computer. Broadband telephone is hyper popular since it cuts out the telcos and dramatically reduces your phone bill. Some VoIP companies offer unlimited local plus long distance calling for a flat fee of less than 20 dollars per month.

As with anything else, the cheapest solution for VoIP is going to be determined by your usage of the service. If using your computer to talk with your contacts does not bother you, by all means use PC-to-PC or PC-to-Phone. If you want to reduce your phone bill, and enjoy the convenience of talking on a normal phone, broadband telephone is going to be the cheapest solution in VoIP.

Reasons To Consider Home VOIP Phone Service

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

VOIP is a type of phone service that uses broadband Internet. It is an alternative to the conventional phone services, and is becoming increasingly popular. It offers a solution to paying exorbitant phone bills every month by charging one flat rate. The only thing that you need to purchase is highspeed Internet service.

Using a VOIP phone is no different than with a regular phone and it does not use too much of the speed from your internet service when you make a call, and when you hang up, your highspeed goes back to normal.

Within the past five years, there have been several different VOIP phone service providers that have begun operations that offer services that are significantly cheaper than the traditional method. More people have ordered the VOIP phone service than the traditional lines. However, as with anything, there are advantages and disadvantages to VOIP phone service.

One of the biggest advantages is that a VOIP phone will save you a lot of money on monthly phone charges.

A conventional phone company offers its customers local and long distance packages. This means that you can purchase long distance phone service either by the month or as an unlimited package. Although most of the time the service is adequate, the rate that you pay for unlimited long distance is outrageous. With VOIP, long distance is figured into your bill each month and it is still significantly cheaper than a basic plan using the traditional method.

When you are considering VOIP, it is necessary to do some research. There are many different companies who offer this service and all have different rates. If you choose to use your cable company to provide VOIP, check the rates very carefully as cable companies tend to have the highest rates for VOIP phones.

Vonage is a provider of VOIP phone service that has become increasingly popular and is chosen most often as a provider. It can be purchased in many different retail outlets however there is also a markup on your purchase using this method, and Vonage is probably not your most cost effective option.

If you make overseas calls, there are long distance plans that can be purchased for specific areas of the world. It is important that you ask your carrier if the region you want to call is included in your plan, or can be included at a higher cost.

When you purchase unlimited calling from your phone provider, it is not totally unlimited. Most phone providers flag clients when they use more than three or four thousand minutes per month. It is possible that you will receive a phone call from them questioning why you used so many minutes and they will ask if you are using your phone as a business phone. The rates for a business phone are significantly higher than residential.

The disadvantages to VOIP phone service are very few. Overall, it is becoming the most chosen form of phone service because it is very affordable. However, there are certain conditions that are not compatible with VOIP.

Broadband is required to optimize VOIP phones. DSL is great for Internet however because of it design and range, it may not be conducive to receiving a good enough signal for VOIP. For the same reason, satellites also have a few bugs to work out before it will work properly with VOIP phone service.

Another disadvantage to VOIP phone service is that if you lose your internet connection, you will also lose your telephone service. If you need a reliable phone service, you may want to consider your choices carefully.

If you run a business out of your home as many people do, it is important that you understand that VOIP phones cannot support a fax line. If you choose VOIP, you will need to have an additional phone line installed in your home dedicated solely to the fax machine. If this is not possible, you may want to research online fax companies.

Although broadband phone services can save you a lot of money on your calls, it is important that you research and understand all of your options and the terms of service before you make a decision. Research different companies and their rates to ensure that you are choosing the company that fits your needs the best.
