With companies like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and specially Sony Ericsson coming up with cell phone with ‘all in one’ multimedia capabilities, Palm Treo continues its trend to provide users the best for the minimum price. The 680 by Palm Treo was announced in October 2006 and was released at the end of November. The device comes in traditional Palm Treo style. The available colors are graphite, crimson, arctic and copper. However graphite was sold a lot because it was the only color on the Cingular package.
Samsung SGH T809 – Reviewing all the cell phones with respect to their design, we would see that almost every famous cell phone has to be very slim. Motorola Razr V3 got popularity just because of this. Famous manufacturers have introduced their own ‘Razr’ to complete with Motorola but so far so good, nothing is able to beat Motorola Razr. Here we are about to review Samsung SGH-T809, a slim cell phone rival of Razr. The cell phone measures 3.9x2x0.6 inches. And weight a little above 3.5 ounces. The cell phone is a bit heavier than its rival but the slider cell phone appears good in black color. The slider mechanism works fine as it needs only a finger to slide up or down. The 4 way navigational key is responsive most of the time along side the two soft keys.
Nokia 3220 – The pretty cool looking cell phone is measured 4.11×1.74×0.74 inches and weighs just a little over 3 ounces. The weight is something quiet rare as compared to other handsets by Nokia. The cell phone fits well in jeans and any other type of pocket. With Nokia logo on something, don’t worry about anything crashing. The cell phone is compact the keys are adjacent and engineered well. So does the five way scroll pad. However it seems to be a bit smaller than usual. One can change skins of the cell phone. Original from Nokia are available for this particular handset so one can show off a new cell phone every day.
LG VX-8300 – LG has been manufacturing cell phones for many years and have really succeeded in giving tough time to companies of Nokia and Motorola caliber. With its Chocolate it even won the best cell phone design of 2005. Here we are about to review another master piece from LG, the VX8300. The cell phone shape is some what round and sleek. The physical measurements came out to be 3.58×1.93×0.92 inches and weight turned out as just below 4 ounces. It is the first 3G cell phone from LG.
Motorola V551 – Motorola has a trend of providing users with cell phones that are having high end features for a very low cost. The famous V series is just following the trend and today we are about to review V551, a cell phone which clearly outclassed every other cell phone in terms of its cost benefit ratio. The flip open V551 is a sleek colorful handset with perfect physical dimensions. The cell phone is externally blue and metallic combination color which looks really cool.
Samsung SGH-X700 – Samsung X series has come up with few handsets that left their mark on cell phone markets. X600, X100, and X210 and a lot more in the X series assembly line, were equipped with latest features as well as tested with new innovations. Today X700 is the handset we would be reviewing. The candy bar X-700 is somewhat similar to other cell phones like X620. The cell phone is sleek and slim and available in black and silver combination. The matt finish of X-700 makes it look more sophisticated and business class hand set.
